AMBASSADOR21 is the often-imitated but never-equaled post industrial / darkwave band from Belarus.Throughout their career, Natasha A Twentyone and Alexey Protasov have left a distinct mark on the industrial scene with their harsh, relentless, and innovative sound, explosive live performances, meticulous sound design, and constant search for new sonic solutions. And it doesn’t look like their reign of domination is ending anytime soon. But what else would you expect from a band with punk attitude running through their veins, living in the same sick and twisted world as you do?
AMBASSADOR21 always balance on the edge. Their music represents a breaking point where industrial, darkwave,hardcore, and breakbeat collide into a unique apocalyptic mix—a sound that never lets you lick your wounds, paired with ferocious live shows that never allow you to rest.
AMBASSADOR21 has performed at major festivals such as M’era Luna, Wave-Gotik-Treffen, Maschinenfest, Plage Noire, Dark Malta, Castle Party, E-Tropolis, Festival Kinetik, Baroeg Open Air, NCN Festival, Hellsinki Industrial Festival, Ososphere, PRSPCT XL, PRSPCT Revolt Festival, Noxious Art, Wroclaw Industrial Festival, Forms of Hands, Gogbot Festival, Elektroanschlag, exclusive show in HR Giger Museum and many other events worldwide.
Since 2003, the band has toured extensively and played numerous shows in Germany, Austria, France, Italy, The Netherlands, Belgium, Canada, UK, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Switzerland, Malta, Greece, Belarus, Poland, Czech Republic, and Russia.
Although A21 is a duo, the band has performed with many live musicians over the years. Currently, it is joined on stage by DJ Knüppel (live scratching) and French guitarist Zoé Hr, known for JE T’AIME and HERRSCHAFT.
Throughout AMBASSADOR21’s existence, the band has released numerous full-length albums, EPs, as well as an extensive collection of tracks and remixes for labels including Invasion (the band’s own label), Hands, PRSPCT, Industrial Strength, Metropolis, Ant-Zen, and many more.
Since 2001, AMBASSADOR21 has collaborated with many artists, including FOETUS, HOCICO, NACHTMAHR, KIEW, WUMPSCUT, CONVERTER, SONAR, PROYECTO MIRAGE, LENNY DEE, THE DJ PRODUCER, KAOSIS & DINO CAZARES, DELTA 9, PUNISH YOURSELF, HALLUCINATOR, SNOG, CAUSTIC, PANKOW, SHIV-R, CHRYSALIDE, XOTOX, THE OUTSIDE AGENCY, TREPONEM PAL, ENDUSER, BLACK LUNG, JE T’AIME, and many others.
