Terrorizer

Back for more digital hardcore mayhem, Belarussia’s AMBASSADOR21 deliver the goods once again. Four outstanding industrial punk workouts that have moved away from being just the angry young punks from the east to a far more focused and polished affair. Not that Alexey and Natasha have lost any of their anger, far from it, they have just contained it better, controlling their output into a more cohesive monster as opposed to the chaotic fury that has possessed previous releases. They have also enrolled Jose from Spanish industrialists CTRLer as guitar player and in doing so have resisted the temptation to sample others and concentrate on their own works, and it is much better for it. Of the three remixes of the title track it’s the ‘Terror Mix’ by DJ J. Christ that comes off best, all pounding machine beats and noise, nice.

Regen Magazine

Masters of screamed distortion Ambassador21 are back with their latest spoonful of poison titled I Wanna Kill U.Com. This release is an EP featuring four new tracks and three remixes of the title track as well as a video track. This release picks up where their last full-length release AKCIJA left off and that was full of squeals, yells and crunched beats. This EP contains some true gems for the more adventerous listener as the tracks are full of angst, aggression and energy. If you have never heard Ambassador21 before, let me try to describe them: take every sound you have ever heard in the whole realm of electronic music then toss it into a blender that can only blend on high and you will get something in the ballpark of what these guys sound like. Chaotic to say the least. I think that their style of music would be incredibly hard to create as they don’t follow any sort of structure as the rule book on how to make an electronic song is tossed aside and they do their own thing… just like that one kid on Sesame Street. A nice addition to this seven track stereo sodomizer is the video track for “All The Rest Like Animals Has,” which is a track seemingly dedicated to sex and violence and the video reflects these sentiments with footage taken from Japanese hentai anime as well as footage of violence and carnage. Not something that your mother or pastor would want to see, but you will love it! All tracks on this EP hold something for the daring listener and I highly recommend it to anyone into aggro-electronics.

Alternative London

Belarussia’s delinquent duo are back. Four tracks of top quality digital hardcore punk and three remixes for your money this time. More ferocious than ever, A21 delver more spite and venom than a dozen so called nu-punk bands. This time round they have also employ Jose from Spanish industrialists Ctrler to supply the spiky guitars as opposed to sampling them from various different metal and punk records. This has made A21’s songs more their own and a damn sight angrier.

Chain DLK

Ambassador21 don’t take time to rest and after releasing their album and touring through Europe, they release a new E.P. titled I WANNA KILL U.COM. The E.P. has got four new tracks (“I wanna kill u.com”, “All the rest like animals has”, “Anarchy” and “The english lessons (who suck fuck?)”), three remixes of the main track (thanks to Beinhaus, Ambassador21’s member DJ J.Christ and Lament Configuration) and a video track of “All the rest like animals has” (Enemy LTD directed the video, mixing anime cartoons, live performances by the band and other extreme video sources, creating a mixture that makes you feel the depravation of bestial side of human beings). Musically the E.P. isn’t focused only on total distortion of sounds (maybe the manipulation of the Ramones logo, which sees the eagle with the Ambassador21 logo on its chest and the names of the three members on the perimetrical side of the circle, indicates the influence of punk of the band’s music) and the punk/hc samples of “All the rest like animals has” and “Anarchy” duet with tribalism of the main title which is based almost unically on drums. Distortion isn’t the main thing on this CD but you can always find it along with the right rioting attitude!
P.S. This is the first Ambassador21’s which sees the release on vinyl thanks to Restroom Records. More to come…
