The show goes on! Die alljaehrliche Freundeskreiscompilation aus Weissrussland gibt sich wieder die Ehre, beinhaltend Kuenstler von beispielsweise Ant-Zen, Hands und natuerlich Invasion Wreck Chords, und gerne haben sich manche Bands dazu bereit erklaert, fuer sie nicht typische Tracks zu entwerfen, sondern etwas ausufernder, grenzenloser zu agieren, was nicht wenigen sehr gut zu Gesicht steht. Die reine Bollerfraktion gibt's auch 2009 nicht, das Reissbrett der industriellen Revolution bietet – diesem Label gerecht – einmal mehr frontale Konfrontation im intellektuell-intelligent-individuellen Format und laesst auch E-Gitarren nicht missen. Asche, Punch Inc., Suicide Inside, Synapscape, Winterkaelte, Punish Yourself, Ambassador21, Roger Rotor, Iszoloscope, P•A•L, BooT-SectoR-ViruZ, Xabec, um nur einige zu nennen, gaben sich auf Reload die Ehre, was alles zusammen einen Electrindustrialpunk-Sampler ausbrach, der vor Energie, Freiheit und halsbrecherischer Lautmalerei nur so strotzt. Grosse Kunst und Kreativitaet ist hier versammelt, welche man sich absolut nicht entgehen lassen darf. (9,5)

SIDE-LINE

This compilation delivers an impressive selection of bands active in the industrial, powernoise and other related genres. This is the kind of compilation you better avoid when you wake in the morning. It can for sure blow your brains out. The harsh trip starts with Asche and their “Deadeyed Little Man (V2)” followed by Punch Inc and the merciless “Final Execution”. Suicide Inside comes next with a nice twist of rhythm and noise. I’m not affirming that Synapscape brings some rest, but the more electro-industrial “Luka” is definitely a first break. Winterkaelte brings us back to the hard essence of industrial power. Punish Yourself is a kind of surprise here. Their song “French Pigs/End Of The Western World” is a live version from the rehearsal room and brings a mix of guitar-industrial power. Ambassador21 brings a real appropriated next piece entitled “Revolution Is A Business 2k9”. It’s more a kind of punk-noise track with the usual aggressive outburst we’ve been familiar to. Among the bands on the 2nd part of this sampler I can hardly recommend Roger Rotor and the “Torquemada Mix” of the “Eschatology”-track. This artist brings a kind of alternative to the usual industrial harshness. Roger Rotor is more refined and into electronics, but it remains pretty minimal sounding. The heavy and real power is more a question of Iszolscope with an extended version of “In The Other Mind Of Us” while in a pure noise style we get a hard assault from F.Y.D. There’s definitely much tracks to experience here and that’s why this sampler is hardly recommended to the pure industrial lovers!

The label sampler of Invasion Wreck Chords features every year a series of prominent industrial noise artists while the line-up of these samplers also get better each time. The nice add is that of these artists also rare and exclusive tracks have been compiled too. Asche is represented with a new track ‘Deadeyed Little Man’ which is recognizable from thousands as Asche with its distorted disco groove. Also Punch Inc. and Synapscape are present as well as Winterkaelte, who have delivered a 2009 version of ‘Ban Depleted Uranium Weapons’. France is represented with tracks from Punish Yourself, Sonic Area and F.Y.D. Belarus is of course represented with industrial heavy weights Suicide Inside and Ambassador 21. Also the new world joins the party with tracks from Pneumatic Detach and Iszoloscope. Usual suspects such as P.A.L and Xabec complete the industrial-technoid mayhem on this disc. The names speak for itself. Top release.
